Skipping a cycle lets one generation slip through, which is why larvicide is scheduled weekly rather than left to a monthly visit.
Adulticidal Site Spray Fortnightly
Adulticidal site spray knocks down the mosquitoes already flying on the property; gardens, compounds, stairwells and common areas are treated on a fortnightly cycle to keep the adult population low between larvicide visits. It works alongside larvicide rather than replacing it: a spray clears what is biting today, larvicide stops what would be biting in two weeks. Both run on the same fortnightly schedule through the monsoon for housing societies, offices and campuses across Mumbai, Thane and Navi Mumbai.
Fogging Fortnightly
Fogging fills gardens, basements, ducts and common areas with a fine cold or thermal mist that reaches resting mosquitoes a directed spray cannot, which is why it is run on the same fortnightly cycle as the site spray rather than as a one off.
